RealMbps earns a commission on some links to online shops. The price you pay does not change by a cent, and the commission does not decide what we recommend or in what order. Here is the full detail.

What an affiliate link is

It is an ordinary link to an online shop carrying a code that identifies this site. If you buy something after following it, the shop pays RealMbps a percentage of the order. Your price is identical to what you would find reaching the shop any other way: the commission comes out of the seller's margin, not your pocket.

Who we work with

RealMbps participates in the Amazon Associates Programme. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. The site uses the marketplace for your country, so prices and delivery times are the real ones for you.

Affiliate links are technically marked as such (rel="sponsored"), as search engine guidelines require.

What the commission does NOT do

• It doesn't decide who we recommend. The criteria are public: how we pick products.
• It doesn't decide the order. We don't put the highest-paying product first.
• It doesn't stop us advising against. Every entry says who the product is not for, even when that means suggesting you buy nothing at all.
• It doesn't buy reviews. No manufacturer pays to appear here and we accept no sponsored content.

The other source of income: advertising

The site carries ads served by an external network, unrelated to the content you read: whoever writes the guides doesn't know which ads you will see, and advertisers have no say over the text. Shorter pages carry no advertising at all, by choice.

Why we tell you

Because the affiliate programme requires it, but mostly because a recommendation is only worth something if you know where it comes from. If one day you read here that a product isn't worth the money, we want you to be able to believe it.
